My Azores Home is a project created by Rui Oliveira, from Terceira Island, and Aurélie Oliveira, from France. Although they live on the Portuguese mainland, Rui and Aurélie have long been passionate about the Azores and what the archipelago offers visitors.
The blog My Azores Home was born from the desire to:

3. Our Connection to the Azores
Rui and Aurélie studied tourism and have long dreamed of launching a project in that area.
From their first visit to Pico, they fell in love with the island, which, in addition to its nature, sea, and mountains, offers calm, peace, and tranquility found in very few places in the world. Pico has its own spirit and atmosphere.
This uniqueness and authenticity were two of the reasons they chose to invest in holiday homes there rather than elsewhere.
In 2016, they began buying older houses with the intention of restoring them and renting them out.
In 2018, they opened their first house on Pico, Casa do Almance.
In the same year, they registered the brand My Azores Home.
In 2019, they opened their second house, Casinha de Nesquim.
Today, My Azores Home combines that experience with up-to-date research and partnerships with reliable companies.”
